How to raise an event in FPM ABAP Webdynpro

DATA: lo_fpm TYPE REF TO if_fpm,
      lo_event      TYPE REF TO cl_fpm_event.

* Get FPM instance
    lo_fpm = cl_fpm_factory=>get_instance( ).

* Create event(in this example we use FPM refresh which is used to load new values into screen)
    IF lo_fpm IS BOUND.
      lo_event = cl_fpm_event=>create_by_id( cl_fpm_event=>gc_event_refresh ).
      lo_fpm->raise_event( lo_event ).
    ENDIF.

You can also raise the FPM event in one shot:

cl_fpm=>get_instance( )->raise_event_by_id( cl_fpm_event=>gc_event_refresh ).
